So I'm not a practicing hair stylist anymore, and I forgot a little about shampoo caps. I currently have a level 4RV in my hair, but I want to go light brown again, around a level 6-7A. Should I just mix some Matrix SoLite 40 vol peroxide into my shampoo, and do a few of those, around 15 min each time? Or just go ahead and mix up some V-light bleach with some shampoo? What would work better? Also, have you ever tried the Shades EQ metallic series from Redken, and if so, did you like them for neutralizing the red?Shampoo Cap?
Okay here's what you have in colors
4RV........level 4 with Red and violet
6-7 A....level 6 light brown and probably A for ash.
If you use 40V remember that is a lifting agent and most not be used on the scalp. Unless a professional training is under your belt.
Would use V- light bleach with shampoo.......never been happy with the color.
Don't like the Shades EQ metallic i stay away from.Shampoo Cap?
Why not add a dot of 68495829hjsdhfiuabvgfb to a bowl full of apojweopua,nc30984q9028A^%!#*%26amp;652 and see what happens.
Should be interesting.
