I like the Nieva for Men deep-cleaning formula. For a shampoo was wasn't specifically labeled as a chlorine remover it did a really good job of getting chlorine out of my hair (I also swim without a cap).
As for other shampoos you can use there's a whole bunch of chlorine removal shampoos that they sell all over the place. Either get an anti-chlorine shampoo or get a deep-cleaning formula. Don't get any hair replenishing products though, because you want to get the chlorine out and not put in stuff that will make more room for more chlorine to get into your hair. What's a good shampoo/home remedy for getting chlorine out of my hair? I swim, but don't want to wear a cap.
there's shampoo at walmart specifically made for chlorine removal. like 4 bucks for an entire bottleWhat's a good shampoo/home remedy for getting chlorine out of my hair? I swim, but don't want to wear a cap.

there's all types of swimming shampoo's that you can buy to get the chlorine out of your hair but honestly I've been swimming since I was 2 and I am obsessed with my hair...I just use normal shampoo and conditioner and my hair is still beautiful and chlorine free...as long as you wash your hair as soon as you get out of the pool, you'll be fine.
Lemon juice or like fresh lemonade
Baking soda neutralizes the acid. Put some on your damp hair, let it sit for a minute, then rinse it out.
Clarifying shampoo like Pantene ProV Clarity works too.
They make swimmer's shampoos but they don't do anything your normal shampoo doesn't.
Good luck!
Back in the day ... we'd use Flex Conditioner before we swam because it has a certain amount of waxy build up in it.
